Josh knows how good it is to live in a tight-knit community and he’s taken the lead to build neighbourly connections at The Village, Menangle by launching the resident Facebook page.

He and partner Dan moved into their new home in June, two years after the memorable day they found the perfect place to build their life together. Flush with the excitement of securing a block of land, Josh returned to the Revesby home he shared with his mum, and immediately set up the Facebook page.

"I decided that I'm going to be one of those people who gets involved in the community." says Josh, who knows virtually every Village resident by name and several he counts as friends.

Sean and Anna Molloy knew the hard work of moving house to The Village, Menangle had all been worthwhile when their granddaughter declared the community movie night the "best night ever".

"It was wonderful to hear that from one of your grandkids", says Sean, a father of five and grandfather of six. "Lifestyle was a big part of the move to The Village and it's good for the grandchildren to be able to run in the park and get fresh air when they come to visit".
